A brief update (april 2011)

Hail to you all. It´s time for some news. We were really busy working on several projects lately. Beside the usual cover paintings and designs for bands and labels, I would like to talk here about some of my paleo illustration projects. The big painting I did for the USA company Innvo Labs, and the release of upcoming book "Complete Dinosaurs 2" from Indiana Press University.

First one, Pleo from Innvo Labs USA company. They were on CES, on Las Vegas, with his amazing new product…a dino robot called Pleo.

I did a mural Jurassic landscape painting for a big back drop placed on the company stand.

HHR will be releasing March Into Firelands on USA

Derek Dokson from Innvo Labs told me "It was a hit, people really enjoyed the back drop painting"

Flame "March Into Firelands"new CD/Vinyl on Primitive Reaction

The new Flame album "March Into Firelands" is out now through Primitive Reaction (Finland) with artwork and design by the artist. CD version includes full coloured 12 pages booklet with lyrics and infos. Noble gatefold heavy weight vinyl with A2 poster is limited to 666 copies, 500 copies with traditional black and 166 copies with marble/black coloured vinyl!

Artwork for new Consilium album "Resistance"

I just finished the artwork for the new Consilium album Resistance. The band is now finishing the recording of the new album with some Kataklysm members on studio. It´s a epic piece that illustrates the age where the Patriots of Quebec were fighting against the British army. A really interesting theme to illustrate. Galy records will be releasing Resistance. Cover for upcoming Eldereon album "Blood Of The Dying"

TThe cover for the debute album of the Spanish masters Eldereon "Blood Of The Dying" is finished now. A dark and detailed piece of obscure art. Till You Fukking Bleed from Poland will be releasing this album on cd and classic cassette edition. Release date is May. The band have some new members and they are working of the cd layout design right now.

The new Hellspawn Zine nº 7 is now out. I did the front cover artwork. …a classic black and white design with no dead and cemetery topics.

Gloom "…Bless You All" EP artwork finished.

I completed 2 illustrations for the upcoming Gloom "….Bless You All" EP.

Both illustrations are based on the master H.P Lovecraft tales…. cosmic horror coming from the vast universe. More info about this release soon.

Ered new "Goatworshipping Metal" album out through Grotesque Music.

The new Ered album is out now. Pure old school Death Metal in the vein of bands like Disecction, Niphelheim, etc. The inner booklet design includes my first work for the band. The cover that I did for Realms Of The Scorn classic demo of the band. There are also t-shirt designs available with this design, another work based on H.P. Lovecraft histories.

Summer 2010 - Verano 2010

Hi to you all. We added a bunch of news, designs and art on the website. So please take a good time checking it, we hope you enjoy the hard work. Some new exciting projects like new album artworks and designs for Flame, Dead Shape Figure, Nephelium, Cease Of Breeding, Blaspherian, and many more.

Also a important group of projects for bands from Spain like Denial, Gloom or Asphixion are all in progress right now, working on artwork and designs for upcoming releases of a Spanish scene that is getting a really good level.

Also, we updated the Dinosaur site, so please have a look on it too. See you all soon. Cheers.

Es hora de actualizar la página, y hemos añadido una buena cantidad de noticias, diseños y nuevos trabajos, luego esperamos que paseis un buen rato viendo todos los nuevos contenidos. Actualmente estamos inmersos en nuevos y realmente interesantes proyectos para bandas del calibre de Flame, Dead Shape Figure, Nephelium, Cease Of breeding, Blaspherian entre otros.

También destacar la nueva hornada de bandas españolas para las que estamos trabajando, como Denial, Gloom o los catalanes Asphixion. Todas estas bandas sacarán material en breve, y hemos tenido la fortuna de poder trabajar en sus portadas y diseños.

Artwork for upcoming DEAD SHAPE FIGURE album and single releases. / Arte para el nuevo album y single de DEAD SHAPE FIGURE

Summer 2010 - Verano 2010

I am proud to announce this project where I am working right now.... the artwork for upcoming new album and single release of the Thrash Metal band Dead Shape Figure from Finland. The new album will be called "The Disease Of St. Vitus", and the single "Face On The Nails".

Dinamic Arts Records will be releasing the new opus of this killer modern Thrash Metal band. They already released a album under Season Of Mist.

The band is doing a video clip for Face On The Nails single in Helsinki City. The director for the music video is gonna be Mr Jussi Parviainen who has over 30 years of experience in the finnish film industry... The art for both releases are really beautyfull black and white paintings, where the white colour takes a very important presence. More info about this killer release really soon.

Estamos orgullosos de anunciar que estamos trabajando en el nuevo album de la banda Dead Shape Figure de Finlandia!!! En concreto serán dos trabajos artísticos, uno para la portada del album, y otro para el single. El nuevo album llevará por título "The Disease Of St.Vitus", y el single "Face Of The Nails"

Dinamic Arts Records de Finlandia serán los encargados de sacar el nuevo album de la banda. Dead Shape Figure tocan un gran Thrash Metal, moderno, con influencias Death metal también, y ya sacaron un album con el sello Season Of Mist.

La banda está grabando también un video clip para el single "Face On The Nails" en la ciudad de Helsinki. Será dirigido por Mr Jussi Parviainen que tiene más de treinta años de experiencia en la industria. Ambos trabajos son piezas en blanco y negro, donde el blanco será el color predominante. The artwork for the upcoming album of the Finnish great Black Death act Flame will featured one of my paintings.This new opus will be called "March Into The Firelands", and will be released by Primitive Reaction from Finland too.
The cd design work is done now, and I am finishing with the vinyl too, ...it will be including a great poster with the album cover artwork in mighty Gatefold vinyl format.
Espect a master piece from this killer band.

Estamos orgullosos de anunciar que el nuevo album de los Finlandeses Flame incluirá uno de nuestros trabajos. El nuevo album de esta gran banda de Black Death Metal llevará por título "March Into Fireland" y será editado por el sello Primitive Reaction, también de Finlandia.
El diseño del cd está completado, y actualmente estoy dando los ultimos toques a la versión vinilo, que será editado como Gatefold, e incluirá un gran poster con el arte del album.

I just finished the cover artwork for the upcoming album of Nephelium from Toronto, Canada. The album will be called "Coils Of Entropy". Nephelium is a really skilled Death Metal band. They play a awesome thecnical and brutal Death Metal, with several influences of bands like Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse, Brutal Death Metal acts, or classic like migthy Bolt Thrower!!!
One of the most important aspects on Nephelium is the concept of the band. ….really amazing!!!
Check out the cover artwork from the Portfolio section like habitual….a great eye reflecting diferent versions of the reality, where topics like entropy, chaos, dying worlds are mixed in a awesome album concept.
I will be doing the band logo and whole layout cd design too.

La portada para lo que será el debut de los Canadienses Nephelium está lista. El nuevo album llevará por título "Coils Of Entropy". Nephelium tocan un gran Death Metal , técnico y brutal a partes iguales, con varias influencias que van desde las bandas pioneras como Morbid Angel, Canníbal Corpse o incluso los dioses Bolt Thrower, junto a la vertiente más brutal del género.
Sin duda, la parte conceptual que marca el camino de la banda es realmente interesante, y ciertamente increíble. La portada representa el reflejo de diferentes realidades sobre un ojo, ....entropía, mundos desaparecidos hace tiempo que aún dejan residuos de lo que en un día fueron, y otros aspectos completan el intrincado aspecto lírico de la banda.
En la sección de Portfolio puedes ver el arte para "Coils Of Entropy".
También estaré haciendo el nuevo logo para la banda y el diseño completo del album.

Finally, the new Leichenzug album "Das Letzte Gebel", is released through Blasphemous Terror Recs
A piece of great epic Teutonic Black Metal art. There are a limited edition on iron box really killer.

Finalmente ha sido lanzado el nuevo album de los alemanes Leichenzug titulado "Das Letzte Gebel", a través del sello aleman Blasphemous Terror Recs, cuyo logo diseñé también hace algún tiempo.
Leichenzug practican Black Metal con influencias Teutónicas. Además de la edición normal del album, ha sido lanzado una edición limitada en caja de hierro, realmente interesante.

I am working on two illustration works for upcoming GLOOM Ep ....Bless you All.
Gloom is a Spanish Death Metal band from Madrid. The art is under the H.P.Lovecraft histories of cosmic horror and such. A dark view of Azazoth!!!

Estoy trabajando en dos ilustraciones que darán vida al nuevo Ep de los madrileños Gloom!!! Este nuevo trabajo llevará por título "…Bless You All", y el arte se incluirá en la portada y la contraportada del Ep, que será editado presumiblemente en formato digi pack.
La temática esta basada en los relatos de H.P.lovecraft, una escalofriante representación de Azazoth!!!

The cover artwork and the whole layout cd design for the upcoming Denial album are finished now.
This work will be titled Ophiuchus. The artistic work is really abstract and original. The concept album is all about the self destruction of people….the art represents those feelings of depression, lonelisess in a abstract way, where broken mirrors are very important elements.
The band is currently looking to some label to release Ophiuchus.

Tanto la portada como el diseño completo del nuevo album de los Donostiarras Denial está listo ahora.
El título de este nuevo trabajo será Ophiuchus. Este trabajo es sin duda uno de mis más abstractos y originales hasta ahora. La banda buscaba algo en esta línea, donde la destrucción emocional de uno mismo era el principal argumento. Viendo el arte, se adivinan sentimientos de depresión, soledad, vacío de espíritu....los espejos rotos representan el alma rota, y son un hilo importante en el concepto global del album.
La banda se encuentra actualmente buscando algún sello interesado en lanzar este album de gran Death Black con toques melódicos.
Mas información sobre la fecha de lanzamiento muy pronto.

You can see right now the cover artwork for the upcoming Ep release "Warmaster" of the band Asphixion on the Portfolio section.
Asphixion is a young band from Spain that plays Thrash Metal in the old way.
Next to come is the whole layout cd design for Warmaster EP.
The band is currently recording the EP. More info soon.

Puedes ver en la sección de Portfolio la nueva portada para el Ep que sacarán los catalanes Asphixion.
Este nuevo trabajo llevará por título "Warmaster", y la temática es totalmente orientada al tema militar, una especie de asalto a la casa blanca, con su consecuente destrucción.
Asphixion son una joven banda que practican un Thrash Metal de la vieja escuela.
Lo próximo será completar el diseño completo del EP.

NEW "THE PANTIMONIUM" SAGA.2 NEW BLACK AND WHITE PIECES ADDED

Lately I am recovering the taste for the migthy black and white works. So I was working on some new designs, in a classic way to do the things, and with a amazing final look. Both pieces are included on the "The Pantimonium" new saga designs. All the pieces will be created under the old school feeling, with topics on archaic demoniac imaginery, catacombs, ancients realms and rotten tales of no dead legions. The first works are "Infernal Ceremony" and "Entering The Pantimonium Gates" I hope you all enjoy the idea, please, have a look on the portfolio section and let me know about what you think.

Ultimamente he estado trabajando mucho con obras en blanco y negro, recuperando viejas sensaciones, ya que en mis comienzos trabajé mucho este estilo, y creo que es hora de volver a crear este tipo de ilustración. Para ello he decidido crear una saga que incluya estas piezas, y que llamaré "The Pantimonium" o dicho de otra manera, la capital del infierno. La temática.....demonios arcaicos, catacumbas, viejas ruinas, cementerios, e historias de no muertos. Los dos trabajos que inauguran la saga son "Infernal Ceremony" y "Entering The Pantimonium Gates", que creo captan a la perfección lo antes dicho. Ambos se incluyen en la galería, por favor, decidnos que os parece ok?

The logo for the band From Casket from Finland is ready. From Casket is a young amazing band that plays a excellent rotten Death Metal in the vein of gods like old Entombed, Carnage, Dismember, Grave, etc etc

They just signed with Dark Blaphemies Recs and will be releasing a full length late this year. Dark Blaphemies Recs is a new label that manage Dave from the band Uncronsecrated, and I really recommend it to you if you are a fan of the old school Death Metal from the 90 th. They released the debute album "When Darkness Returns"of a awesome band called Morbider already!!

El nuevo logo para la banda Finlandesa From Casket está listo. Este joven grupo practica un excelente Death Metal en la linea de lo que hacían las bandas suecas en los 90. Sus influencias van en plan viejos Entombed, Carnage, Dismember, Grave etc etc.

Ellos acaban de fichar por el también joven sello Dark Blasphemies Records, y durante este año grabarán lo que será su album debut, y que será editado también durante este año. Dark Blasphemies Records está dirigido por Dave, que también forma parte de la banda Unconsecrated. Pese al poco tiempo que llevan funcionando, el trabajo realizado hasta hoy es realmente interesante, centrándose en trabajar con bandas que practican auténtico Death Metal de la vieja escuela, y habiendo publicado ya un increíble album de los Checos Morbider llamado "When Darkness Returns"

The cover fits with the band concept perfectly. This is pure old school crude and dirty Sudamerican Death Black Metal how only this band is capable to do......brutal sound, poor production and agressive lyrics like ussual. El nuevo album de los Sudamericanos Anal Vomit acaba de salir a través del sello Black Seed Prod!! Esta vez el album ha sido titulado "Gathering Of The Pudrid Demons" y es otro ataque despiadado de sucio Death Black Metal como solo las bandas Sudamericanas son capaces de hacer!!! La producción es pobre, el sonido rancio, las letras crudas, sin duda una pequeña joya para todos los amantes de este estilo, puro old school. Al igual que los dos primeros albumnes de la banda "Demoniac Flagellations" y "Depravation" que fueron editados por From Beyond Productions de Holanda, fuí el encargado de crear el arte de la portada e interiores, que sin duda encajan a la perfección con el estilo del grupo Peruano. I just finished the design for the logo of the new act GODS OF THE DECREPIT!!! This is a really brutal new act, two members project, and they promises killer stuff in the vein of bands like Mortician or Nile!!! The identity of the members is not known, so stay tuned for this brutal band!!!

El logo para la banda GODS OF THE DECREPIT está ahora finalizado!!! Al loro con esta nueva banda, que mantiene la identidad de sus miembros oculta, y que prometen un brutal album siguiendo la estela de bandas como Mortician o Nile!!! Más información, y el diseño definitivo pronto.

The cover for the new LEICHENZUG album "Das Letzte Gebet" (The Last Prayer) is now finished. Leichenzug plays Black Metal and they are from Germany. Paul is own of BLASPHEMOUS TERROR RECORDS and member of Leichenzug. BTR will be releasing the album. soon. I also did the BTR logo (check the logo section to see details) The artwork is a epic description with a old Germanic teutonic crusader into a church in flames, a really fine piece of art. More info about this release soon.

La portada del nuevo album de los alemanes LEICHENZUG titulado "Das Letzte Gebet" (The last Prayer) está terminada. El album será publicado por el sello BLASPHEMOUS TERROR RECORDS, para los cuales también diseñé su logo el cual puedes ver en la seccion de logos. Paul es el dueño de BTR y también miembro principal de la banda, que practica un rápido pero a la vez melódico Black Metal. El concepto de la cover es una ejecución, donde aparecen dentro de una iglesia en llamas, un cruzado teutónico y un monje. Más información sobre este proyecto pronto.

La banda americana PRESSENCE ha adquirido uno de mis diseños para lo que será su nuevo EP, que incluirá cuatro canciones. El título del Ep no está aún confirmado, pero lo que si sabemos es que está siendo mezclado y masterizado por Rob Leonard. Más información pronto.

I just finished a new logo design for the Death Metal band ATARAXY from Zaragoza (Spain) Something really evil and %100 Death Metal!! The band is planning record a demo soon.

Acabo de finalizar un nuevo diseño para la banda española de Death Metal ATARAXY!!! ATARAXY son de Zaragoza y planean grabar un nuevo demo pronto. El estilo del logo, y por consiguiente de la banda es claramente Death Metal al ciento por ciento, suenan realmente bien.

There are available t.shirts with the cover in gray scale..s too. Sin duda es uno de mis trabajos más detallados hasta la fecha, incluyendo un auténtico apocalipsis noctuno donde demonios, brujos, vampiros, y diablesas celebran un canto a la noche. Este es el septimo album de esta legendaria banda de genuino Death Black metal de los USA, y sin duda su mejor album hasta la fecha. Nightrealm Apocalypse incluye 10 obscuros himnos. El album fué mezclado y masterizado por Tore Sternja en los Necromorbus Studios en Estocolmo. El album ha salido como cd normal y digi pack. Posteriormente será editada una version vinilo del mismo. Esta es mi segunda portada para SATHANAS tras la que hice para su "Entering The Diabolic Trinity " album que editó el sello PULVERISED RECORDS.

Cover Artwork for upcoming DENIAL CD

I´m working on the cover artwork and whole layout CD design for the upcoming DENIAL album. Album title is not confirmed yet. The concept is something bizarre and really original. The band is now completing the recording seasons. Denial plays excellent black metal and they come from Vasque Country. More info soon.

Estoy trabajando en la portada y el diseño completo de lo que será el próximo album de los vascos DENIAL. La banda esta aún barajando posibles títulos para el album. El concepto con el que he trabajado es quizá uno de los más abstractos y originales. El estilo de la banda actualmente está más cercano al Black Metal que en anteriores trabajos. The works for the cover artwork of the first BLASPHERIAN album "Infernal Warriors of Death", are now in progress. Deathgasm Rec. will be releasing this piece of the most blasphemic and dark death metal. I´m working now with Wes on the concept for the cover, expect something really evil and brutal.

Los trabajos para lo que será la portada del album debut de los norteamericanos BLASPHERIAN, titulado "Infernal Warriors of Death", han empezado. En estos momentos estoy discutiendo con el lider de la banda, Wes, sobre el concepto de la portada. Sin duda será un trabajo blasfemo y brutal siguiendo la línea de portadas clásicas de bandas como Inmolation. Blaspherian ejecuta un crudo antiguo y brutal death metal al estilo de bandas como Incantation e Imprecation. En estos últimos militó durante varios años el líder de Blaspherian. Deathgasm Rec. será los encargados de poner el disco en circulación.

We just released the new website!!!!. We really hope you like it. Please let we know about what you think. The new site is more simple but easier to use. The illustrations are on a decent size, so we are sure you all will appreciate it a lot. But the main reason to the new site design is our 10th anniversary doing works for you all. Por fin lanzamos el nuevo sitio Web!!!!, esperamos que os guste el nuevo diseño, quizás más simple pero sin duda más ligero, manejable y fácil de usar. Por ejemplo, las ilustraciones de las galerias se ven ahora en un tamaño mayor, lo cual estamos seguros que os ayudará a la hora de apreciar el trabajo artistico de cada una de ellas. Pero sin duda una razón importante para decidirnos a sacar este nuevo sitio web son los 10 años que llevamos trabajando para vosotros.
